Our program:

Forward March, a 501c3 non-profit, is a unique organization like no other in our area– we provide a transitional housing option for veterans at risk of homelessness and/or suicide. Housing includes a private room, three meals a day, transportation to Dr. appts, job interviews or counseling. We help them manage their health care needs and provide optional spiritual counseling as well.  Our program addresses the issues that have led their lives down this unfortunate path, and we provide them with the tools to successfully reenter the workforce and society. So many  veterans find themselves  at risk of homelessness, suicide, isolation, mental health issues, and the dissolving of their family.  We aim to eradicate homelessness and put a severe dent in the number of broken families as a result of our veterans unique struggles, and most important prevent the overwhelming number of veteran suicides our country grieves each day. 

All procedes from the Soldier Up 5K  go towards housing, feeding and improving the lives of our veterans. For additional information about Forward March or to make a doantion visit our main webpage at www.forwardmarch4vets.org
